Gwel Dulas is the name we have given to our two and three quarter acre field in the Kensey valley a couple of miles west of Launceston.
RogerCO is the name of the bloke who writes this stuff.
Gwel Dulas lies on the floor of the valley bounded by the river on the north, Underlane runs along the southern edge, a stream flows down on the west side and a hedge and ditch borders the east.
As far as we know it has always been pasture - it may possibly never have been cultivated since before it belonged to St.Thomas's Priory in the 16th century. (The priory fell victim to Thomas Cromwell's depredations on behalf of his king.)
We acquired it in summer 2012, buying at auction for a stonking £10 thousand an acre.
