Finally, in March 2018, while GD is dusted with a light sprinkling of snow laid over the incipient spring, I manage to start this blog. 

Maybe I will transcribe the journal entries from the log book. Probably I will continue the log book anyway since it is nice to sit in an old chair having a break and writing down what's occurring in situ.

But it is also good to have a searchable record of what where and when. Which is what this should be with a list of the plantings and growings, a plan of the site, a record of the yields and so on.

So welcome, Roger of the future, to this blog. I hope there is something here to please you.
