Pears: Pear - Beth

thumb

Description: A dessert pear with pale yellow fruits sometimes tinged pink with a golden russet. The flesh is creamy white, juicy and sweet. Ready in Sept. Pollination group 3. Eventual height 14-18 ft.

Notes:

One came from Endsleigh grafted 17/11/2015 on Quince Eline rootstock - probably the second one at P06. Label eventual height 8-10 feet

These need to be eaten within a day or two of coming off the tree - they don't keep well. Pick when ripe and eat at once to enjoy the full perfumed flavour.

Planted locations : 2 sites - P02, P06,
